North Country Trail

  A long drive separates Eau Claire from North Country Trail, but it sure is a nice trail. Wisconsin is a great outdoors state. A quick tour to Ramstead Creek next to North Country Trail is a good idea; Chequamegon National Forest is worth taking a look at. Get yourself into a kayak and hit White River, and North Country Trail is a pleasant spot to visit for more than one day, Two Lakes - Chequamegon National Forest is a pleasant spot to camp nearby. If you
    come at the right time of year, Marengo River offers some nice whitewater. Lake Namakagon Campgrounds is a pleasant local campground; needless to say Porcupine Creek flows through this area. People from Grand View love to come to
North Country Trail. North Country Trail is a good place of typical rainfall. Most of the rain falls during September while February is usually the driest month. All through the warm months, highs generally are in the 70's at North Country Trail. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. Highs during the winter are frequently in the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at North Country Trail.
