Alleheny Trail

  This part of West Virginia is always a pleasure to visit during hiking season. Hey, time for a hike don’t you think? Alleheny Trail in Monroe County, West Virginia is a perfect place for getting out. Getting to Dismal Branch from Alleheny Trail is uncomplicated, and Alleheny Trail is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Moncove Lake State Park is a glorious local campground. Some nearby water includes Pine Swamp Branch. There's so much to do here at
    Alleheny Trail that you need to camp here for a while, New River Junction Campground is a good place for that. If you come at the right time of year, Little Stony Creek offers some nice whitewater. The nice people of Pembroke like
to hang out nearby; get yourself into a kayak and hit Stony Creek - New Tributary. High temperatures at Alleheny Trail throughout the days of summer are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Alleheny Trail during the wintertime usually drop into the 20's. Alleheny Trail is a good spot of normal precipitation. July is the wettest month with most rain while January is ordinarily the driest month.
