Barrenshe Trail

  Put on your hiking shoes and hit the trail, Barrenshe Trail in Nicholas County, West Virginia is just the place. If you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cranberry River. Barrenshe Trail is a location with many visitors from Richwood. There's so much to do here at Barrenshe Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Summit Lake Campground is a splendid site for that. Why not check out close by Little Hacking Run while
    you're here at Barrenshe Trail. Stay the night at Big Rock Campground, and it's a good idea to go to Bee Run. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Cherry River - North Fork. Barrenshe Trail gets much water. Through July this area
sees the most rain, and January is when it's the driest. During the summertime months at Barrenshe Trail highs are mostly in the 80's while nighttime lows are typically in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Barrenshe Trail dipping down into the 20's through winter nights.
