Big Run Trail

Hiking here in West Virginia is a must. A long drive separates Oak Hill from Big Run Trail, but it sure is a nice trail. Camping is available at Cranberry Campground, and why not a little side trip to Epling Run. A journey to Watoga State Park revives the spirit; get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Cherry River - North Fork. Big Run is a glorious place to take a look at, and you can run the rapids of Cherry River - South Fork. Camping at Summit Lake
Campground is always a great experience, and during your visit here you'll meet some folks from Renick for sure. This place, Big Run Trail, it truly has so much outdoors exciting stuff. At Big Run Trail during the summer months highs
are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. During the winter the highs are typically in the 40's, and overnight lows at Big Run Trail all through the wintertime ordinarily dip into the 10's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Big Run Trail a wet site. Most of the rain falls through July, and the driest month is February.
