Brushy Mountain Trail

  You'll have to go far from Roanoke to get to Brushy Mountain Trail but it is a really good trail. If you are in West Virginia during hiking season you have to go hiking. If you're here at Brushy Mountain Trail, you could explore Laurel Creek, and a short visit to Davis Spring is always worthwhile. Barclay Run flows through this area, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Marlinton here. If you came to camp Pocahontas Picnic And Campground is a fine place to
    do that, and Minnehaha Spring is always fun to check out. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Greenbrier River, and Watoga State Park is a splendid site to stretch your legs a bit. If you want a splendid time in the great outdoors,
just come on down to Brushy Mountain Trail. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Greenbrier River. Sharp Hollow is a great place to explore, and camping at Watoga State Park is always a splendid experience. Brushy Mountain Trail mostly gets a good deal of rainfall. July is when you get the most rain here; February on the other hand is the driest. All through the warmest time of the year here at Brushy Mountain Trail, high  
temperatures typically get into the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Brushy Mountain Trail are in the 10's.
