West Virginia has so much to offer nature lovers. It's a long drive from Morgantown to Elza Trail but when you spend some time hiking here you will feel like a whole new person. We all need to get out in nature once in a while and Elza Trail in Randolph County, West Virginia is just the place. is a good place for that. Nearby Lee Bennett Hollow is a tremendous site to go if you're at Elza Trail, and Monongahela National Forest is a great site to stop at on a wonderful day. There are some nice whitewater spots on Cheat River
| - Dry Fork, and some of the water close by flows, like Taylor Run. Stay the night at Swallow Rock Campground, and getting to Elza Run from Elza Trail is uncomplicated. Lots of people from Whitmer come to Elza Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Gandy Creek offers some perfect whitewater.
