Frosty Gap Trail   A visit to West Virginia is not complete without some hiking. Pretty far from Oak Hill you find Frosty Gap Trail but you always have a good time when you're hiking along it. There are plenty of folks from Hillsboro here at Frosty Gap Trail, and float down the rapids of Cranberry River in a kayak. Camping at HCS Campground is always a pleasant experience; there's some flowing water nearby, Left Branch North Fork Cherry River is a stream you can explore during     your stay. Near Frosty Gap Trail you hit upon Frosty Gap which is a good spot to pop by, and Falls of Hills Creek is a nice local attraction. If you came to camp Summit Lake Campground is a perfect spot to do that, and needless to say Darnell Run flows through this neighborhood. You assume that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Watoga State Park is a glorious place to stretch your legs a bit. Frosty Gap Trail is a wet place that gets a good deal of rain. Of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. High temperatures at Frosty Gap Trail during the summer months are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's.   The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Frosty Gap Trail.
