Laurel Trail

Laurel Trail is located quite a long drive from Roanoke but when you spend some time hiking here you will feel like a whole new person. In West Virginia you never run out of outdoors fun. Camping is available at HCS Campground, and there are some perfect whitewater spots on Greenbrier River. North Fork Beaver Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth going to; a spree to Laurel Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Cold Springs. At
Laurel Trail you always meet someone from Buckeye; get yourself into a kayak and hit Anthony Creek. Camping at Watoga State Park is always a delightful experience, and you don’t have to go far from Laurel Trail to see the water at
Watoga Lake Dam. Yeah, come here to Laurel Trail for a great time. Some nearby water includes Mary Sharp Run, and you beyond doubt should stop at Watoga State Park while you're here. The high level of rainfall makes Laurel Trail a relatively wet location. Through the month of July you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February. At Laurel Trail all through the days of summer highs are in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours
of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are usually in the 30's while Laurel Trail night low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 10's.
