Loop Trail   Loop Trail is a trail quite far from Harrisonburg but many people like to hike here to be close to nature. Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in nature a bit and Loop Trail in Grant County, West Virginia is just the place. A perfect location for whitewater paddling near Loop Trail is Potomac River - South Branch, and there are plenty of folks from Cabins here at Loop Trail. Potomac River - South Branch is a good whitewater spot in close proximity     to Loop Trail, and camping at Smoke Hole Campground is always a tremendous experience. A quick tour to Long Run in the vicinity of Loop Trail is a good idea. If you came to camp Big Bend - Monongahela National Forest is a good place to do that, and a good location to go to is Shook Gap. For the duration of the summer at Loop Trail highs are generally in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's.
