North South Trail
| | Gotta get out of the city man, and North South Trail in Pocahontas County, West Virginia is a really good place to spend some time. Hiking here in West Virginia is a must. Hell For Certain Branch flows through this area, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Williams River. Camping is available at Day Run Campground, and you'll probably meet some folks from Bergoo here. A good place to camp |
here at North South Trail is Tea Creek Campground, and whitewater paddling is nice on Cranberry River. Watoga State Park is a great place, and if you're here, you could have a look at Laurelly Branch. So many exciting things in close
| proximity to North South Trail, absolutely phenomenal. During the summertime months at North South Trail temperatures are typically in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's; during the dark hours in the winter at North South Trail temperatures descend to the 10's. North South Trail is a wet place that gets a large amount of rainfall. The month with most of the rain is July; October is the month with the least moisture. | |
