Pocahontas Trail

  Outdoors people generally like this part of West Virginia. It's a long drive from Oak Hill to Pocahontas Trail but it is a fun place to hike for the whole family. Put on your hiking shoes and hit the trail, Pocahontas Trail in Webster County, West Virginia is the outdoors at it's best. Near Pocahontas Trail you find Pheasant Hollow which is a fine site to take a look at. Camping at Cranberry Campground is always a glorious experience, and get dripping wet paddling
    on Williams River. Places like Watoga State Park are splendid to stop at, and lots of folks from Renick come here. Looking for some flowing water? Try Cold Run, and whitewater paddling is fine on Cherry River - North Fork. If you
came to camp Summit Lake Campground is a glorious site to do that, and hey, Dogway Fork is a magnificent local stream. What a site this is for outdoors people. Pocahontas Trail gets a lot of water. Most of the rain falls through July; the driest month is February. All through the warm months highs here at Pocahontas Trail reach the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Pocahontas Trail are in the 10's.
