Pocahontas Trail   Outdoors people generally like this part of West Virginia. It's a long drive from Oak Hill to Pocahontas Trail but it is a fun place to hike for the whole family. Put on your hiking shoes and hit the trail, Pocahontas Trail in Webster County, West Virginia is the outdoors at it's best. Camping at Cranberry Campground is always a glorious experience, and get dripping wet paddling     on Williams River. Try Cold Run, and whitewater paddling is fine on Cherry River - North Fork. Pocahontas Trail gets a lot of water. Most of the rain falls through July; the driest month is February. All through the warm months highs here at Pocahontas Trail reach the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
