Rider Trail   With so many outdoors activities available in West Virginia you'll never get bored. Rider Trail is a wonderful location to visit for more than one day, Lake Sherwood Campground is a wonderful location to camp nearby. There's whitewater on Anthony Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers; some nearby water includes Big Run. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Rider Trail has to offer, you can camp at Bolar Mountain Campground. Whitewater paddling is     not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Jackson River. Dilley Run is one of the streams close by that might be worth a visit. Watoga State Park is a perfect place to visit on a beautiful day. A large amount of rain falls at Rider Trail. July is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Rider Trail with overnight lows in the 50's.
