You can run the rapids of Anthony Creek close to Slabcamp Trail, and let's not forget Dawson Run which is a stream that you may come across while you're here. A visit to Watoga State Park rejuvenates the spirit. All through the warmest time of the year at Slabcamp Trail temperatures are typically in the   80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Slabcamp Trail.
