Tibbet Knob Trail   Put on your hiking shoes and hit the trail, Tibbet Knob Trail in Hardy County, West Virginia is the outdoors at it's best. Tibbet Knob Trail is not very near Winchester at all but it is a great escape from the city. Paddling on Trout Run is so much fun, and a good spot to check out close by is Wolf Gap. Big Stony Family Campgrounds is a splendid local campground, and a short visit to Cold Spring is always worthwhile. Lost River State Park is worth going     to if you're at Tibbet Knob Trail, and Tibbet Knob Trail is not far at all from Lost City. If you came for an overnight stay Trout Pond Campground is a nice site to camp. Stony Creek - North fork Shenandoah Tributary has a fine whitewater paddling spot nearby. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Tibbet Knob Trail. During the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's.
