In the Bighorn Mountains there are many great hiking trails where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. Time to get out and breathe some fresh air, and Dry Fork Trail in Sheridan County, Wyoming is a perfect place for getting out.

Recreation Area since you're here. Camping at North Tongue River Campground is always a wonderful experience, and a fine place like Kettle Basin here at Dry Fork Trail is too pleasant to miss. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the area near Dry Fork Trail has to offer. Drift down the rapids of Tongue River in a kayak.  
At Dry Fork Trail through the summertime months highs are in the 90's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Dry Fork Trail dip into the 10's.
