Knobstone Trail   59 miles, including the loops, begining at Deam lake S.R.A near Borden, IN and terminating at Delaney Creek S.R.A between Scottsburg and Salem, IN.  The terrain is difficult.  The Trail follows ridgelines as much as possible but it is very steep when you have to cross over to the next ridge. A fine place to camp here at Knobstone Trail is Delaney Park, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Vallonia here. Camping at Country Aire Lake is always a great experience, and a good place to have a look at is Deep Gap. For the period of the warm days of summer at Knobstone Trail highs are ordinarily in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. All through the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Knobstone Trail. Lots of precipitation falls at Knobstone Trail.
